PATIENT TRANSPORT: DIALYSIS, RADIATION and CHEMOTHERAPY TRANSPORT
We treat you as a person first. You are not merely our passenger; our aim is to support you as much as possible on your road to recovery. So that you can focus on the important aspects of your treatment, we want to make the paperwork and discussions with your health insurance provider about covering the costs easier for you and support you as far as we can. Simply call us - or, even better, arrange an appointment with us and we will be happy to advise you at our office. You can rely on our expertise.
And one more thing - would you like to bring someone with you? Of course, one accompanying person may travel with you at no extra cost - as often as you wish.
What does “we bill your health insurance provider directly” mean?
If you would like to take a TAXI to dialysis, radiation and/or chemotherapy, you must obtain prior approval from your statutory health insurance provider. As a rule, they are required to cover the cost of these journeys.
Once approval has been obtained, you do not need to do anything more than show it to us. We take care of everything else, so all you need to do is get into our clean, air-conditioned car.
Our company has an agreement (framework contract for providing patient transport) with the statutory health insurance providers in Germany. This means that we may bill the relevant health insurance providers directly and electronically on your behalf, so you have no paperwork and, above all, no additional costs.
Journeys requiring prior approval:
- Outpatient journeys (e.g. visits to your family doctor, ophthalmologist, etc.)
Dialysis, radiation and/or chemotherapy journeys
Journeys not requiring prior approval:
- All inpatient journeys (if you stay at a hospital, rehabilitation clinic, medical centre, etc. for at least 24 hours)
Do not hesitate to call or email us. We will take the time to explain the situation to you clearly and in detail.
